WHAT IS THE ROBOT COMEDY JAM?
The Robot Comedy Jam is a live show hosted by Android McGregor where individual human performers from the realms of stand-up, clown, idiot, vaudeville, and improv collaborate in the moment with a robot on stage and whoever gets the biggest audience laughs wins cash and glory!
Robots can come in many forms…to push the limit of this thinking we use robot chairs and other enchanted furniture! The ChairBots meander on their own and they can respond to the touch of a performer and sometimes Android McGregor will intervene on behalf of hilarity.
Our Robots & Performers
In the Robot Comedy Jam individual human performers from the realms of stand-up, clown, idiot vaudeville, and improv collaborate with a robot on stage in competition for the biggest audience laughs and cash and glory!
We are starting the series with robotic chairs (ChairBots) that can respond to a performer’s touch while zooming around the stage! The ChairBots are developed by the CHARISMA Robotics Lab at Oregon State University
